Just testing the new Windows Live Writer, and, provided this actually appears on my blog, I must say that I'm very impressed. A year ago, I believed that all the live products would essentially beadvertising vehicles with very little practical purpose, and would be nothing more that an overhaul of MSN.

It turns out that I've been very wrong. Live has a few good features and a couple of great ones, and, whilst I'm slightly disappointed by the somewhat lacklustre interface and branding, overall i'm a confirmed fan.
